Questions and Answers
What age can my child start learning the chess?
The best age is anywhere between 4- 100 years old . However, we take children from age 6. This is due to introducing them to professional language from the start.
How long is each lesson?
Lessons are developed for 60 mins each.
What is the lesson structure?
Small groups allow our team to develop an individual approach. We can re-structure teaching methods according to the needs of our children. Live lessons start with puzzles and exercises that children love, followed by our newly developed teaching material and then practice. Our experienced coach gives every child a chance to practice to every child. Children leave each lesson with homework.
What is the group size?
Minimum – 4, Maximum – 8 students
My child knows the rules of Chess, but is still new to the game
For these children we have set up a “Tactics and Strategies” course, where we start with basic middlegame tactics such as: Checkmate in one, fork, pin, skewer, discovery, etc. We slowly increase the level of difficulties.
Can we have a Trial session?
We do not follow any marketing gimmicks of offering one trial session. It is absolutely pointless if not dangerous pattern to offer children quick-fix solutions without putting in any hard work and learning to delay gratification.
Just one trial lesson does not give time to a child, teacher and parent to fully build a good working relationship or rapport. That is why we only offer a half-termly subscription to our classes. More
